All India Institute of Medical Science, Gorakhpur is an upcoming medical research public higher education institute. It was established in the year 2026 in Gorakhpur. It is one of the four "Pharse-IV" All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) announced in July 2014.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of AIIMS Gorakhpur on 22 July 2016. An outpatient department (OPD) started on 24 February 2026 and MBBS courses are expected to start in 2026.
