About Indian Centre for Space Physics Careers

Indian Centre for Space Physics (ICSP) is an Indian non-profit research organization dedicated to carrying out advanced research in astronomy, astrophysics, and space science. It was established in the year 1999. It was located in Kolkata, West Bengal.

Its new campus is being built on Eastern metropolitan bypass behind Metro Cash and Carry. Prof. B.B. Bhattacharyya was the President of ICSP Organization. ICSP is collaborating with several national and international institutions and universities.

It is a member of Erasmus Mundus joint PhD programme in astronomy funded by European Union. This department mainly deals with Black Hole astrophysics. There are two branches of the black hole astrophysics. Theoretical and Observational.
