Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd (MSETCL) or MAHATRANSCO is a major electricity transmission company. It was established on 6th June 2005. Its headquarters are located at Bandra, Mumbai. It is a wholly-owned corporate entity under the Maharashtra Government. MSETCL is the largest state transmission utility in the country.
In June 2005 after restructuring the erstwhile Maharashtra State Electricity Board to transmit electricity from its point of Generation to its point of Distribution.
