Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) is medical college in New Delhi affiliated to University of Delhi. It was established in the year 1956. It is named after the Indian freedom fighter and first education minister of independent India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Dr. Sanjay Tyagi was the Dean of MAMC Department.
The college is a tertiary care referral centre and has teaching programs for graduate and postgraduate degree and residency and subspecialities/ fellowships. That hospital was well equipped with x-ray machine, a laboratory and other facilities for varios emergency procedures.
