About TIFR, Mumbai Careers

Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) is a public research institution. It is dedicated to basic research in mathematics and the Sciences. It was established on 1st June 1945. Sandip Trivedi was the Director of the TIFR Organization. It was located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. TIFR's new campus in Colaba was designated by Chicago-based architect Helmuth Bartsch and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on 15th January 1962.
