SSC CGL Selection Process & Exam Pattern Overview

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) in four stages: Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4. The selection process for SSC CGL includes the following stages:

Tier 1

• This is a computer-based examination that consists of multiple-choice questions.
• It is the first stage of the selection process and serves as a screening test.

Tier 2

• This is also a computer-based examination, consisting of four papers.
• It is conducted for candidates who have cleared Tier 1 and tests their knowledge of English language, Quantitative Aptitude, Statistics, and General Studies.

Tier 3
